AI tools produce a great deal of useful work that stays inside a chat. An artifact makes that work part of the organisation’s record: it can be found, reviewed, approved, versioned, shared with the right audience and published, whichever AI produced it.
Artifact
A piece of work produced by a person or an AI, such as a report, draft, analysis or article, held as a governed record with a status, versions and an owner.
Example
Claude drafts a management accounts commentary for ABC Limited. It is saved in Kroy as a Draft Artifact; a manager reviews it, a partner approves it, and it is shared with the client through their projection.
