What an Artifact is

An Artifact is a piece of produced work: a draft article, a client report, a proposal, a set of management accounts. When AI produces something worth keeping, it becomes an Artifact in Kroy rather than a message lost in a chat history.

Status and approval

Artifacts move through statuses such as Draft, In review and Approved. Kroy policy can require a person to approve an Artifact before it is shared externally or published.

Provenance

Each version records which person or agent created it and what it was based on — so you can see why a report says what it says.
